Well this blog has already stimulated the madness.
To be honest I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, I've been composing mad lists all day. I haven't figured out whether I am going to post them all up at once yet, or if I will work on them one by one and post about them as I start doing them.
I have been thinking that I probably need to clarify what sparks of madness constitute. I'm not talking about leaping out of planes or kayaking croc-infested rivers (not that I am saying no to those though either!) but random acts of little madness that cut through the mundane day to day of adult life. Something to look forward to at the end of the working day.
And boy, I've been looking forward to coming home and writing here!
I went to the library today and entered 'madness' into the search engine and in between the books on the correlation between madness and the monarchy I found this book, I'm up to page 145 already!
It's called "The Necklace - A true story of 13 women, 1 diamond necklace and a fabulous idea!" by Cheyl Jarvis... each chapter begins with a photo of one of the thirteen women, wearing the diamond necklace and gently tells the story of their journey with this rather lovely diamond necklace. You may have heard about these women as this charming idea has gathered quite a lot of publicity?!
What a wonderful spark of madness to buy a diamond necklace with a group of women, some who had never met! But all had quite unexpected, amazing and uplifting experiences...I will write more later - in other words I want to get back to reading! Hee hee!
