Day Four - Guy Fawkes Dress

I have a cold today. And it's started raining. I had to go home and get a cardy. Good because that's another item ticked off. Bad because it felt so summery in this dress.

This morning it was gorgeous and warm and this dress suited it perfectly as it is my start of Summer Dress. Another op shop purchase. It is light and breezy to wear and the material feels lovely on my skin. The shoes are from a friend, tres gladiator with the straps and chunky wedge heel.
I usually wear the dress with a thick black belt tied at the waist. The pattern reminds me of sparklers fizzing in the dark.

This weekend is Guy Fawkes and I hope the weather holds, a local school has their Lights Over Marlborough Fireworks event on Saturday night, however for the past couple of nights I have been having a Lights Over Marlborough of my own. Living next to a park a number of people having been using it to set off fireworks at all hours of the night!

I have my friend's Hen Night tomorrow night, plus a couple of appointments throughout the day... all the more reason for multiple outfit changes!!!!! Watch this space!
