Day Three - Forest Girl

I haven't worn these pants for about 2 years since I got mortifiably offended when a workmate suggested I'd come to work in my pajamas. I had to go home and change I was that upset. But the Spark of Madness challenge is to wear everything in my wardrobe so today I manned - and frocked - up.

However, yet again, I arrived at work to hear "got your pajamas on today Bridget?" (different workmate, still a male though). Luckily I'd come prepared...

"Nice to think you like to picture me in my sleep attire, dear workmate" I glibly reply. That bloody shut him up! Ha!

Well, I like my outfit today... not so much my hair in this photo... but I do like my outfit. And I'm pleased with the way the shirt works with the pants too. It's kinda Japanese style - funny that, since that's where I bought both the shirt and pants. When I lived there I fell in love with their sweet wistful loose feel muted colour style - so cute - kinda like an Asian Amelie and today has a slight hint of that aesthetic. They've even got a name... Mori Girls!

Mori Girl Style in Harajuku

"Mori meaning "Forest" in Japanese, girls wander the streets of Tokyo looking as if a fairy lurks the forest. Wearing to the minimum of five layering of dresses and cardigans, and taking in the pleasures of the little things in life by Knitting, Traveling,Tea Art/Drinking, Reading, and Music.

And being a Mori Girl, with her multiple layering, is also a brilliant way to get wear one's entire wardrobe more quickly!

Anyway - finally - just to clear up any confusion - this is what a pair of pajama pants really looks like!
Hehehehe!
